You can view the activities added to the software most easily in the Activities folder of the Workspace area.
The Open Activities view lists all active activities - including critical tasks - regardless of which customer or matter they are related to. By default, you only see your own activities on the list, which you have created yourself or to which you have been assigned as the responsible person. However, you can remove the "My" checkbox at the end of the field if you want to view all open activities in your office.
By changing the view selection, you can view only the activities assigned to you, completed (passive) activities, or all activities. If not all view options are available, the power user may have restricted them.
Activity views are grouped by status by default. To view the activity list by responsibility role, you can drag the Responsibility column above the rows and move the Status field back as a column.
- In the "Assigned to me" group, you will see the activities where you are the responsible person for the activity.
- In the "Assigned by me" group, you will see the activities that you have assigned to someone else.
- The "Other" group lists the activities where you are neither the creator nor the responsible person for the activity.
When the task is completed, you can mark the activity as done with the Mark as done button, which removes it from the list of open activities. An activity is marked as done also when a transaction is created from it.
If a comment is requested when confirming, the power user has defined an optional or mandatory comment for that activity type and possibly also a predefined comment text template for use.
If comments are not mandatory, you can mark multiple activities as done at once in the Activities folder of the Workspace area. The software requests confirmation for this function and then displays a summary of the activities marked as done.
