Customer identification must be enabled in the software settings. Once identification is enabled, the following changes appear in the software:
- An “Identification” tab and a “Customer Identifications” folder are added to both the corporate customer and private customer windows. All individual identification events related to the customer are stored in this folder.
- The Matter window gains a Customer identifications folder, where all identification events related to the matter are collected.
- The Workplace area gets a “Customer Identifications” folder, allowing users to review and manage their own customers’ identification events.
- In the Customers area, a Customer identifications folder is added, enabling centralized management of all customer identifications.
NOTE! If any of the above windows have been customized in your software, the identification-related fields must be added to the windows manually by CSI. Also note that if certain folders have been hidden from users through navigation rights, the new folders may not appear automatically. However, the power user can make the identification‑related folders visible in the software settings (Settings > User Settings > Navigation Permissions).
