For identification, you may be able to use a customer’s previous identification event. If the customer already has a completed, sufficiently thorough, and still valid identification, its information can be copied to a new identification event. This facilitates handling identifications, for example, if the customer has several matters with the same risk level.
To check the status of the customer’s previous identification events:
- Open the customer’s pending identification event.
- Select the “Attach to Existing Identification” button from the ribbon.
- The software opens a list of the customer’s previous identification events.
- If a suitable identification event is found, select it from the list to copy the identification information.
After copying, the "Customer Identification" field in the identification event displays a link to the previous identification and its date. The user who attached the identification event to the previous identification is automatically recorded as the reviewer, and the identification status is changed to "Done". All dates related to the identification, as well as the value of the "Performed by" field, are inherited from the previous identification event.
By clicking the "Mark as Reviewed" button you can update the "Information Reviewed on" field to the current date.
