You can review customer identification events in several folders:
- All identification events related to a matter can be found in the Customer identifications folder of the matter.
- Every identification performed for a customer is saved in the customer’s Customer identifications folder.
- The Customer Identifications folder in the Workplace area shows only the user's own identification events, those in which they are marked as assistant, responsible person, or identifier (in the Performed by field).
The same Customer identifications folder also exists in the Customers area and displays all customers’ identification events centrally. If you want to view only the identifications assigned to you in this folder, select "My own" in the view’s Owner filter.
The Customer Identifications folder, found both in the Workplace and the Customer area, offer four different views to monitor identification events.
- All Identifications shows all identification events created both for customers, matters and matter requests regardless their status.
- Expired and Expiring Identifications displays all customer identification events that have already expired or will expire within 30 days.
- Identifications for Active Matters displays identification events related to active matters only.
- Matters with Unfinished Identification lists matters which have incomplete identification events.
The status of identifications is shown in various lists and windows, making it easy to react to identification events that are still incomplete.
In the matter list:
- A red triangle indicates that the parties of the matter (by default, the principal and payer) have not been identified, or their identification process has not even been started.
- A yellow triangle with an exclamation mark means that identification events for the parties have been started, but at least some are still unfinished.
- A green check mark appears next to the matter when all required identifications have been completed.
In the matter window:
- A yellow triangle in front of the Principal field means the principal needs to be identified.
