The power user and standard users with extended rights can also edit information for multiple matters at once. This makes it easier, for example, to update responsible persons, language, type, or business area for matters. NOTE! Be careful when editing information, as changes cannot be undone.
When assigning a new matter type to matters, the software checks that a sales account has been added to the new type and asks whether to update the matters’ sales accounts accordingly. If you do not want to edit sales accounts, only the matter type is changed. If the sales account is changed, it also affects uninvoiced transactions for the matter.
The Edit Multiple function is available only from the right-click menu and only when more than one row is selected.
- Select matters from the list one by one by clicking them while holding the Ctrl key, or select a range by holding the Shift key.
- Then right-click and choose Edit Multiple. In the window that opens, you can edit the information for the matters.
- The OK button confirms the changes, and the Summary window shows for each matter whether the edit was successful. You can open the details for a single row by double-clicking it.
