When you deploy the CSI software or acquire a new workstation, the CSI software must be installed on the workstation and the database connection needs to be configured. This guide covers the steps for ClickOnce installation. MSI package installations are usually handled centrally by IT support.
- Install the software from the location agreed upon with CSI, either from a disk share or a website. The installation is done by clicking the ApplicationManifest file, which will ask if you want to install the software.
- Answer the question affirmatively, after which the software will be downloaded to your workstation.
- Once the download is complete, the software will open and ask for the database.
A. Add a connection by clicking the + button and go to the connection key tab. Provide a friendly name (this is only visible to you) and the connection key and password you received from the administrator or CSI.

B. If your company uses Entra ID authentication, select the connection settings service tab (Entra ID) and search for the connection settings of your organization.You can read more about Entra ID authentication HERE.
- Click OK and login to the software.
