The power user has configured general settings in the software, including the default payment term, rounding precision for transactions, and the invoicing period to be used. However, these settings can be overridden at the customer level in both company and private person windows.
If multiple matters are created for a customer, the customer-level settings save time, as they are inherited by all of the customer's matters. These customer-level parameters can still be overridden at the matter level.
The Parameters button opens the customer-level parameter window, where you can define customer-specific parameters related to transactions or invoicing such as minimum billable of transactions, transaction duration step, customer-specific hour price, discount percent, payment term, currency, and content of the invoice printout.
The Parameter window displays the currently active value for a parameter, if any, and its source. In the Value column, you can define parameters for the customer that differ from the general defaults.
