How different hour prices are defined:
Matter‑level hour price
- Open the matter details and select Parameters from the ribbon.
- Go to Invoicing > Pricing and enter the price in the Hour price field.
- The price applies to all transactions in the matter.
Matter‑specific team member hour price
- Open the matter details and go to the Team Members folder.
- Add a new member to the matter team using Attach, and define their hour price for this matter; the price can also be set to 0.00 €.
- To ensure team‑based pricing works, verify that in the matter’s parameters under Invoicing > Pricing, the Pricing model is set to User‑based.
Customer / parent company hour price
- Open the customer details and select Parameters from the ribbon.
- Go to Invoicing > Pricing.
- Enter the price in the Hour price field.
- The hour price defined for the customer applies to all matters where this customer has a role as a principal.
- If the principal does not have an hour price, a possible hour price defined for its parent company will be used.
Customer‑specific team member hour price
- Open the customer details and go to the Team Members folder.
- Add a new member to the customer team using Attach, and define their hour price for this customer; the price can also be 0.00 €.
- To ensure team‑based pricing works, verify that in the customer’s parameters under Invoicing > Pricing, the Pricing model is User‑based.
Matter‑specific role price
- Open the matter details and in the Invoicing section go to the Role Pricing folder.
- Select Attach and choose the desired employee role in the Role field. Define the hour price for that role, valid only for this matter.
- To ensure role‑based pricing works, verify that in the matter’s parameters under Invoicing > Pricing, the Pricing model is Role‑based.
Customer‑specific role price
- Open the customer details and in the Invoicing section go to the Role Pricing folder.
- Select Attach and choose the desired employee role in the Role field. Define the hour price for that role, valid in all the customer’s matters.
- To ensure role‑based pricing works, verify that in the customer’s parameters under Invoicing > Pricing, the Pricing model is Role‑based.
Matter‑specific transaction type price
This allows defining a special price for one or more transaction types only for the selected matter, unless hour prices have been defined at a higher hierarchy level.
- Open matter details > Invoicing > Pricing.
- Go to the Transaction Types folder and select Attach.
- Choose the transaction type from the list and define an exceptional hour price that applies only in this matter.
