If the CSI software is not in continuous active use, you will notice reminders requiring your action from the CSI icon in the Windows taskbar.
The icon flashes and shows the number of reminders as a red dot, similar to Teams. If the messaging function is enabled, the number also includes received messages. When the number of reminders exceeds nine, the icon shows a plus sign instead of a number. After handling the reminders, the red dot disappears from the icon.
You can also see the number of overdue reminders in the bottom left corner of the software, where you can click to open the reminder list.
- Double-clicking the reminder row opens the reminder target, such as the list of overdue invoices.
- The Open Reminder button opens the reminder.
- The Snooze button postpones the reminder to a later time.
- The Dismiss and Dismiss All buttons allow you to dismiss individual reminders, but they do not affect view-related reminders. You can postpone a view reminder with the Snooze option or open the reminder and increase its 'Search Result (at least)' value.
Overdue reminders can also be viewed in the Reminders folder of the Workspace area, which lists all your own reminders and allows viewing reminders you have added for other users.
If necessary, reminders can be activated to be sent to users via email by installing the reminder service and configuring the required parameters. In that case, reminders are checked every 15 minutes, and a message is sent to the user's email address for found reminders.
