You can move or copy one or several transactions from one matter to another. Transactions can also be copied within the same matter.

Transactions are moved or copied as follows:

1. Select the desired transactions and choose Move/Copy Transaction from the ribbon.

2. Select the target matter to which the transactions will be moved or copied.

   • By default, the selection list shows matters belonging to the same customer.
   • If several transactions from different matters of the same customer have been selected to be moved, the user will be shown a filtered list of that customer’s matters.
   • If the transactions belong to matters of multiple customers, no filtering will be applied.
3. Select Move/Copy Pricing as is if you want the software to preserve the original hour prices of the transactions, regardless of whether the target matter has different hour price settings.

   • If you do not choose to transfer the hour prices as is, the software will re‑check and recalculate the Unit Price and Total fields of the transaction.
   • If the transactions to be moved/copied are in status Invoiced or On Preliminary Invoice, their status in the target matter will change to Open.
   • When copying transactions from an internal matter to a billable customer matter, the value in the Hours Worked field is also copied into the Billable Hours field.
4. The Move / Copy Transaction summary window confirms whether the move/copy was successful.
