Once you have successfully logged in and selected the organization/database, you’ll be directed either to
The Email actions screen, if you had an email selected in Outlook.
- This is one of the app’s key screens, allowing you to create a new transaction, task or critical task from the selected email message.
- If you wish, you can also link the email to a matter. When an email message is linked to a matter, the link does not apply to future emails in the same thread; each message must be linked to the matter separately.
The Dashboard screen, if there was no email selected.
- This is the main screen of the app which you can access anywhere in the app by selecting the Home
button
The Dashboard summarizes your recent transactions and offers you:
- Two predefined charts to visualize your work
- Top menu with three key functions
- A menu
for navigating between the different sections.
- The action buttons for quick functions
and for accessing the mail actions
on the left side of the screen
The Dashboard charts available are:
- “Recent Transactions” that shows the total billable hours of your transactions in the past 5 working days (Monday to Friday). If you have recorded transactions for the weekend, those days are included in the 5 visible days. You can search for transactions within the displayed timeframe.
- “Weekly Budget” displays the total billable hours of your transactions from the past 4 weeks. It also shows your budgeted hours per week (if applicable). The Search covers transactions within the last four weeks. At the beginning of a new year, the chart may include the last few weeks from the previous year.
- Below the charts, you find a list of all your transactions for the displayed timeframe, grouped by date. If there are no transactions within the timeframe, a "No data" message is displayed.
The Top menu offers the following key functions:
- Timer: To measure the duration of transactions
- Conflict search: To make quick conflict searches
- Notifications: To view recent notifications and alerts related to tasks and matters.
The Navigation menu enables you to move between the sections of the application:
- Transactions: To manage your transactions
- Tasks: To manage your tasks
- Customers: To view customers and customer-related information
- Matters: To view matters, matter requests and information related to them
- My Invoicing: To view your billable matters and preliminary invoices and to create preliminary invoices
- Work time entries: To manage your work time entries
- Profile: To view your user details and manage the app settings
The action buttons for quick functions and for email actions
are displayed on the left side of the screen.
The button to the left opens the Quick Action menu to add a completely new transaction, task, critical task or work time entry.
By selecting the Email actions button you are directed to the Email actions screen where you can add email related entries: transactions, tasks, and critical tasks as well as link the email to a matter.
If you are working with calendar events, the app offers you the Calendar actions button instead of the Email actions button.
