You can register work time by selecting “Quick Action > New work time” or by opening the Work Time Entries section from the upper right menu. The Quick Action button opens the Work time screen for adding the required details and saving the work time entry.
In the Work Time Entries section, you can view your worktimes in a weekly or daily calendar view.
- The weekly calendar provides an overview of work times for the entire week.
- In the daily calendar, if the duration of an entry is less than an hour, the work time entry only displays the subject. For work times exceeding an hour, it also shows associated matters.
- In the calendars, a dot indicates that there are work times registered for that date. By selecting a date from the calendar, you can view its work time entries.
In both views, you can add a new work time entry by clicking , entering the required details and saving the entry.
To view or edit the details of a work time entry, click it open. You can also delete the entry.
If needed, you can use a work time entry as a template for a new one by selecting the Use as template button.
You can also link a task to the work time entry. If the entry is linked to a matter, the task list is filtered by that matter by default. You can remove the filter to view all tasks if needed. However, if you link a task from another matter, the application will automatically update the work time entry’s matter accordingly.
If you are deleting a work time entry that is linked to an open (not invoiced) transaction, you receive a confirmation dialog which allows you to
- Delete both the work time and its transaction,
- Delete only the work time while keeping the transaction,
- Cancel the function.
If the transaction linked to the work time is no longer open, the system warns that the transaction cannot be deleted, and you may either
- Proceed (remove the link and deletes the work time entry)
- Cancel (leave without changes).
This ensures consistent handling of work time/transaction links and prevents accidental deletion of invoiced transactions.
